First off, Glamis Sand Dunes...… as someone that has never been there what a cool place. Terrain is like nothing I have been in before or raced for that matter. So what just a super cool experience!
My High Speed Dirt teammate Matt and I went out to the race with one racing sportsman and one racing pro class. Tech went well and then hung out and got ready for the following morning which was heat races!
Did well in the LCQ and qualified for the main. Started 2nd row in the main with around 16 cars per row and was a land rush start up the face of a dune. Super fun and exciting start might I add. Was going well the first 2 laps until the front diff went out. Which means I lost 4wd the rest of the race which was a bummer but kept the pace I could in the dunes as well as me not knowing how to read the dunes so was going nowhere near the pace that top 5 were going. Ended up with a 17th place finish and really cool memories.
As this is the last race of the year, just a huge shoutout to everyone that has helped me this year and plan on helping out for my 2023 race season. Racing is super expensive and very time consuming so without the amazing support from all of my supporters, there is no way I could be doing what I am.
